Product Description

WAPEL RENAL BALANCE® LIQUID is a concentrated supplement for poultry drinking water. It combines citrates, betaine, sorbitol, selected electrolytes, vitamins and nutrients to support hydration and normal electrolyte balance during periods of heat and management stress.

Intended Use

For nutritional support when poultry are exposed to:

• Heat stress and increased demand for drinking water

• Periods of reduced water intake

• Management or transport stress

• Recovery periods in which hydration and electrolyte balance need attention

This supplement does not replace diagnosis or treatment of kidney disease, infectious bronchitis, infectious bursal disease, gout or poisoning.

Directions for Use

Proposed trial dose: Add 0.5 mL per 1 L of drinking water (500 mL per 1,000 L).

Mix thoroughly. Prepare fresh drinking water daily and ensure unrestricted access to clean water. The final commercial dose and duration of use must be confirmed through formulation, stability and target-animal studies.

Precautions

• Assess the flock’s drinking-water quality and feed electrolyte levels before use.

• Seek veterinary advice for birds with suspected kidney disease, severe dehydration or markedly reduced water intake.

• Do not combine with other electrolyte or acidifying products without reviewing the total mineral intake.

• Use only after the final formulation has passed solubility and stability testing.
