INDICATIONS

REPROVIA® ULTRA is indicated as an advanced metabolic and reproductive support injection for:

  • Breeding males and females

  • Pre-breeding conditioning

  • Artificial insemination programs

  • Embryo transfer programs

  • Repeat breeders (supportive therapy)

  • Reduced fertility associated with metabolic or nutritional stress

  • Heat stress

Butaphosphan

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Administer by IM, SC or slow IV injection.

Adult Cattle & Buffaloes

10–20 mL

Recommended administration:

  • 7–14 days before breeding

  • Before transport or periods of stress

  • During recovery after illness

  • According to the veterinarian's recommendation

Treatment may be repeated after 7 days if clinically indicated.


CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.

Avoid concurrent administration with other selenium-containing injectable products unless advised by a veterinarian.


SPECIAL WARNINGS

  • Use aseptic injection techniques.

  • Administer intravenous injections slowly.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

  • Consider total dietary selenium intake before repeated administration.


ADVERSE REACTIONS

Occasionally:

  • Mild pain at the injection site

  • Temporary swelling

Rarely:

  • Hypersensitivity reactions

If adverse reactions occur, discontinue treatment and provide appropriate supportive care.


USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

May be used during pregnancy and lactation following veterinary benefit-risk assessment.


DRUG INTERACTIONS

Compatible with most:

  • Antibiotics

  • NSAIDs

  • Electrolyte solutions

  • Fluid therapy

  • Mineral supplements

Do not mix with other injectable products in the same syringe unless compatibility has been demonstrated.


OVERDOSE

Excessive administration may increase the risk of selenium toxicity.

Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.


WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat: To be established according to the approved registration dossier.

Milk: To be established according to the approved registration dossier.


STORAGE

Store below 25°C.

Protect from direct sunlight.

Do not freeze.

Keep the vial in the original carton.


SHELF LIFE

  • 36 months before opening (subject to stability studies).

  • Use within 28 days after first broaching.
