Dosage and administration:
To ensure accurate dosing, it is essential to determine the animal’s body weight as precisely as possible in order to avoid underdosing.
Cattle, sheep, and pigs: Administer by intramuscular injection only.
Dogs and cats: Administer by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
The recommended dosage is 15 mg per kg of body weight, and the dose may be repeated after 48 hours, if necessary.
Shake the vial thoroughly before use. Clean the rubber stopper (septum) with an alcohol swab before each withdrawal. Always use a dry, sterile needle and syringe.
Use a separate injection site for each administration. The dosage volume is 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight. If the total volume exceeds 20 ml, divide it and inject into two separate sites.
As with all injectable products, follow standard aseptic techniques during handling and administration. Use a graduated syringe to ensure precise dosing, especially when small volumes are being administered. Gently massage the injection site after administration.
